If you’re looking for a charming, high-energy, slightly wild but completely irresistible Golden pup, Beans is your perfect match. Searching for a constant companion?  He’s your boy. He can’t get enough of his human friends, but he’s equally fond of other dogs, so long as they’re patient with regular puppy rough-housing and also don’t mind another dog in their personal space. His personality is made up of curiosity, affection, playfulness and a desire to please. When he decides to take a nap, he loves to be touching a human or dog companion.

Beans has never had an accident in the house and is excellent at going potty on command. That said, he’s very much in need of general obedience training. He knows sit and is learning stay, but it’s obvious that training was not a part of his previous upbringing. The good news is he’s a fast, eager learner – he just needs an owner with time and patience to help him reach his very high potential.

His perfect family would have older children. He loves small children but needs a lot of attention, which is tough to give with small kids in the mix. He’d also benefit from a family that has other dogs. His forever family should view him as part of their family, not just a pet. Beans is full of energy and loves to play. He needs a family eager to join in the fun, and also ready to teach him everything he needs to know. With a family willing to give him all the time and attention he needs, Beans can be the perfect family member and companion.
