Lucy was an owner surrender to a local animal shelter, who reached out to GRRNT and asked us to help find her a new home.

PROFILE

Lucy is a 13 year old female who just needs a home where people will love her! She has some allergies that have caused some problems for her since they were never addressed when she was younger. She is getting help now and her skin is looking so much better. She is heart worm negative, spayed, and no other known health problems. Her foster family doesn't have any cats so we don't know how she would get along with them. She does like to fetch the tennis ball, as long as you don't throw it too far! And she will bring in back to you. But after about the 4th time, she decides she'd really rather take a nap. She does not pull on the leash when taking a short walk. She also does NOT get on the furniture. As a foster mom that lets all dogs get on the couch, Lucy is the first that has not even tried. She is house trained, and already knew how to use the dog door. She does well with other dogs, as shown in the picture with her canine foster sibling. She is great with kids, too. But then, how many Goldens aren't?

Lucy needs a quiet home, with a family looking for a sweet, easy companion, she will return the love 100 fold. Anyone who has had the great gift of long years with their Golden oldie understands there is no greater treasure than old Gold, and no more special companion than a wise soul. Lucy has that to offer to the family who is blessed to give her a loving home.
