Panda is an owner surrender to GRRNT. She is just settling into her foster home and they will be able to tell us all about her soon.

PROFILE

Panda is a Golden/Pyrenees mix about 11 to 12 months old. She was a little unsure about the other dogs in the house when she first met them. She warmed up to them slowly, and now loves the dogs and cats, but Panda is not a dog that wants to go to the dog park.

Panda is still a big puppy in some ways. She really needs a home where someone is home with her during the day, and a basic obedience class will help her gain some confidence. She loves being wherever you are and will join you in the bathtub or shower given the chance. She loves being on the couch or bed, and can makes flying leaps like a gazelle from one couch to another or onto the bed. She is happy to sit on the couch with you and watch movies, and she also enjoys running around the back yard. Panda is learning not to jump up on people, but still does sometimes when she is really excited. For this reason a home with small children will not be a good fit.

Panda is a dream in the car and really likes to go with you when she can.   When Panda is at home alone with the other dogs, she is currently in a crate. When her foster mom is home, Panda is usually right there with her, and uses the dog door when she needs to go outside.  Panda has picked up very few items that she should not have, but does like to take paper towels or bills when they are left out just waiting for a dog!

Panda will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. Come meet her at the next meet n greet and see if that's you!
