Sooner is an owner surrender to GRRNT. He is just now settling into his foster home, and we will know more about him once his foster family gets to know him. Sooner will be neutered soon and will be ready for adoption in a few weeks.

PROFILE

Sooner is a big affectionate boy who loves attention. He loves to be with his people and his canine companions. Sooner has lots of energy!  He loves playing in the yard and gets along well with other dogs.  When he was introduced to the office cats at the vet he hid behind the person he was with, so he probably would be just fine in a home with kitty sibling.  Sooner would be good with other dogs in his forever home but, would also be a fine as on only dog as long as he got plenty of exercise.  He LOVES to play ball and is sometimes just happy to have one in his mouth to chew!

Sooner is completely house trained and crate trained.  He knows a few basic commands and is the first to sit when there are treats to be had.  Sooner could use some more work with the leash, he gets very excited for walks and wants to go fast.  He is a strong big boy that loves to give hugs.

He would be perfect for a person/family that is active and possibly has other furry siblings for him to play with. If you like long walks/runs and fetch for hours, Sooner is your boy.

2/23/2018 Sooner was neutered today and will be making his debut at the meet n greet on 3/3.
