Charlie is an owner surrender to GRRNT due to a change in her owner's circumstances. Charlie has a rear leg injury that our vets will be evaluating, and a few other health issues we are addressing. We will have more information about her soon.

With heavy hearts we said goodbye to our sweet, sweet Charlie today. Cancer has taken another angel. We give our most sincere thanks to her foster family, who showered her with love and attention for the last year and half. Charlie was happy and knew she was loved until her very last day. This special girl will be missed immensely .

4/28/2016

Pretty Charlie came to GRRNT with an injured leg. Tests and xrays showed some very bad news, the injury is actually cancer in the leg. Further testing sadly also showed the cancer has spread to the good leg, and the specialist tell us this is an aggressive cancer. There are no treatment options for this cancer. We don't know how long Charlie may have, but she will enter our permanent foster program, and GRRNT will ensure she is loved and comfortable for whatever time she has remaining.

We give her foster family our deepest thanks for loving Charlie and making sure she is happy and content for the rest of her life.
