Killian is a 2-year-old gorgeous red head who was an owner surrender to GRRNT.  He is an energetic boy who will need daily aerobic exercise. He would make a great running partner, and probably would love to swim regularly. Activities that will burn off energy will be important to keep him healthy and happy. 

Killian did not have much if any training when he came to GRRNT.  He has spent some time with one of our trainers, and has come a long way. He has learned to walk on a leash with no pulling, he now knows commands such as sit, down, and stay.  He is house trained, but still should be crated when his family is away, and at night. Killian is not happy in a standard wire type crate, but is easily crated in a plastic airline style kennel and will go in and settle down nicely. His new home will have to get an airline crate for him. Killian is good with other dogs, and completely ignores the cats he’s been around. Killian will come with and “owner’s manual”, instructions from his trainer about what training he has had, and what should be continued so that Killian will be successful in his new home.

Killian needs an active family, with children old enough to play and wrestle with him. Continuing his education will be a must, and someone who has experience training a puppy in the past would be ideal.  Killian is still with his trainer, and we are hoping to find the perfect family for him to move to soon.
