Lety was picked up as a stray by animal control. She is an older girl, and will need to be treated for heartworms.

Our sweet Lety was not feeling well, and tests showed she had a cancerous mass on her thyroid that needed to be removed. Sadly when she went to the specialist for her pre-surgery exam, they found more tumors in her lungs. Lety's condition is not operable, so GRRNT has placed her in our Permanent Foster program. We will ensure that she is comfortable and cared for, and her dedicated foster mom will make sure she is loved and cherished for the rest of her life.

Sweet Lety has been loved and cherished for the past year and half, but sadly the cancer was advancing, and we had to say goodbye to this little girl today. We are so thankful for Lety's foster family and know that she wanted for nothing and was happy and content in her last year due to their efforts.
