McKenzie came to GRRNT when her family could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, we quickly discovered she had metastatic bone cancer. There were no treatment options given the severity of the disease. The decision was made to keep her comfortable for as long as possible. Her permanent foster family cherished every day they had with her. McKenzie’s last days were filled with endless love, treats and adoration. Her favorite things were napping on the bed with her people, eating salmon and joining her canine pack in evening barking. Her loss is deeply felt and her memory will always be a blessing.
