Oakland is an owner surrender to GRRNT. Her initial exam with the GRRNT vet uncovered some concerning blood work results. Further testing resulted in a diagnoses of severe kidney disease. Our vet believes she will only have about a year, or less, with us. Due to her condition, Oakland will stay with GRRNT as a permanent foster. We will provide all the love and care she needs to be comfortable and cherished for the rest of her life.

UPDATE

5/25/2019 Oakland’s kidney failure advanced much more quickly than we anticipated. We sadly had to say goodbye to this sweet girl today. She was very loved, we just wish we had more time with her. We are so very thankful to her foster family for loving her and showering her with attention for her last few weeks.
