UPDATE

1/8/2022 Permanent foster Rhett came to us five years ago and we soon discovered he had compromised kidneys. He was placed into our Permanent Foster program and his foster family kept him healthy and happy for all of those five years. Yesterday, Rhett crossed the Bridge, going with his family by his side and knowing only love. Our thanks go out to his family, who made his life so wonderful and took such great care of him.

3/1/2017  Rhett was an owner surrender to GRRNT due to a change in circumstances.  He is a happy little guy, and enjoying his new life, but Rhett's bloodwork showed internal organ function concerns, and we discovered that his kidneys are not functioning well. He was started on medication and prescription kidney food, but repeat tests over a few months did not show improvement, and the decision was made to place Rhett in our Permanent Foster Program.  His fabulous foster family is loving on him, and giving him great care. We don't know what the future may be for Rhett, but he will be well loved for the duration.
